Hi Folks! Here’s a book that had me dragging out the ice-cream maker!

I jumped a bit inside when I saw this book. Dairy is NOT my family’s friend, and this book is not only dairy free, it also shows you these recipes free of eggs, gluten, soy, and refined sugar. Uh hello people? YUM?!
I kept it simple and did chocolate ice-cream from the book. That’s the best test for my kids. With just a few ingredients (only one that I didn’t have on hand and ran to purchase), I froze my ice cream maker bucket and dove in.
Pass the test? Oh heck yes.
So here’s what I have to say.
Kelly V. Brozyna’s book, “Dairy Free Ice Cream” is an A+ book for those wanting a sweet treat without hurting their tummies, or their wallets. The ingredients are simple, the recipes easy to follow, and the photos are simply yum-a-licious! (So good that I made up my own word there!). The chocolate ice-cream recipe is creamy and I’ve made it 3 times since getting the book! Time to do the cookie dough ice-cream!
